concept
for this assignment, we had to create a 3D attraction/rollercoaster for the Efteling but with a twist. Everyone in my class got a fairytale assigned to them and I got the best one out of them:
Alice in wonderland
before doing anything (as in research,) I chose the Disney version of Alice in Wonderland and watched the film. I also took some photographs of the movie that I wanted to use in my product.
After I watched the movie, I went on to find some information about it and see what the social theme is. As a social theme, I thought of doing something with the class struggle 'klassenstrijd' in the storyline. It is a young girl that comes from a big and wealthy family that wants to be in her little silly world without having to protect her image, and I thought I'd make the ride about that. Show bright colors around it, have a candy scent, and see some things u normally get nostalgia from. Just a ride that has child-like things. I do want it to be a bit exciting, just cause my age group is 15 to 20-year-olds.
Knowing what I wanted to do, I made a

After making the boards I couldn't wait to make my concepts:
1. for my first idea I wanted to make a ride that looks like the Fata Morgana going down the iconic rabbit hole scene that u can also see in the movie it is a very big scene cause this is the turning point of the story
2. here I wanted to make a Ferris wheel inspired by the heart queen and have high tea inside but after some feedback, I changed the heart queen theme into a mad hatter theme to have a better experience with the high tea (it just fits better with each other)
3. and for my last idea I wanted to create a forest where u ride around it seeing all sort if characters. i wanted to recreate the forest scene of the film.

after sketching i emidiantly started in blender and began with my blockout knowing it would both give me and the person reading this more insight of what i wanted to create.
further progress:
after getting everything in that I wanted to have put in I made sure to get some finishing touches (extra projects from this year hidden in my build).
and now the only thing I had to do was give everything materials (colors) and i did try to get most of it i really tried but didn't get to all of them in time.
